Four principles
Direct rules for reliable, observable, human-owned systems.
Define the boundary.
Name the systems of record, identity rules, permissions, data boundaries, failure modes, and accountable owners before work moves.
Make movement observable.
Use events, validation, traces, tests, and audit history so every workflow transition and system outcome can be inspected.
Keep human authority.
Automation and AI may investigate, propose, build, and verify. Consequential decisions retain an explicit human owner.
Transfer ownership.
Clear contracts, documentation, tests, and infrastructure as code leave the system operable by the team responsible for it.
Doctrine is only useful when it changes the build
